Retired engineer after an active career that took John to many locales all over the world, many he is not at liberty to talk about. He has been a local resident in SB since 1981 where John met his wife Marsha, a local native. Active birder since early 1990s and have been volunteering with the Museum of Natural History, EITS and Santa Barbara Audubon since 2003. Various responsibilities with EITS include, bird handling with presentations to the public, member of EITS's Steering Committee, member of EITS's Finance Committee, acts as liasion between EITS and the SB Museum of Natural History and represents EITS's interests to the SB Audubon board.
